Für die Installation “Space Shift” war Wilhelm Holzbauers Architektur von St. Virgil Salzburg das Thema, mit Fokus auf die rohen Betonsäulen, die sich durch den weitläufigen Eingangsbereich samt den Gängen ziehen. Diese Säulen geben dem Gebäude gewissermaßen einen Rhythmus vor, der aufgegriffen und durch die Tapeteninstallation in einen fiktiven Raum erweitert wird.
Wilhelm Holzbauer’s architecture of St. Virgil Salzburg was the topic for the installation “Space Shift”, focussed on the rough concrete columns positioned in the spatious entrance hall and corridors. These columns in a certain extent give a rhythm to the building, which is taken over by the wall paper installations and expanded to a fictitious space.
